English

English is a place to enjoy your creativity. You can role play, read poetry, write poetry, enjoy exciting stories and write exciting stories. You can let your imagination run wild.

When you study English, you deal with language in the real world – in fiction, non-fiction, in plays, in films, on television, in magazines, in newspapers and on the internet. You respond in a variety of ways, by speaking, acting and by writing. All of the activities help you to prepare to be a confident member of society. Language is power. Playing with language is fun and lets you develop your control of texts and language Assessment is either spoken or written, sometimes on your own, sometimes in a group, with at least eight pieces of assessment per year.
