Resource Centre

The Resource Centre celebrates its role as the central hub of teaching and learning for our school community.

Through the provision of a privileged environment for quiet, independent and collaborative learning, together with quality resources and services that support the goals of the school and the curriculum, our students have the opportunity to not only meet their immediate goals, but also to develop their critical academic and personal lifelong learning potential.

The Resource Centre
  • Promotes a self-disciplined learning environment
  • Assists students to learn independently and co-operatively
  • Empowers students to be discriminating users of information
  • Collaborates with teachers to design and support teaching and learning programs and strategies
  • Provides a wide range of quality resources, technologies and services to support this dynamic curriculum
  • Provides information services for research needs
  • Provides a wide range of fiction and encourages a reading culture
  • Is extensively supported by Parents and Citizens Association to fund new resources, and subscriptions including internet delivered online database subscriptions
  • Is staffed by professionals, a qualified Teacher Librarian, experienced teacher aides, and volunteers, who ae committed to meeting your educational, information and research needs

Opening hours

School days after 8.15am until 3.30pm
Thursdays until 3.05pm because of commitment to staff meetings
