Chinese

ContenT: The content is organised around the six fields of human knowledge and endeavour.  The purpose of learning Chinese is communication.  You communicate in a variety of ways, by speaking, listening, reading and by writing.  Genuine communication means that you engage in listening, speaking, reading and writing in real or lifelike tasks for purpose of enjoyment, socialising and learning.
 
Assessment: Assessment is based on the learning outcomes framework.  You are assessed within the four macroskills – listening, speaking, reading and writing – of communication. By the end of Year 10, you will have been prepared for entry into Senior Chinese.
