Information Processing

 
Content: When you study Information Processing, all work you do will be computer generated using a wide variety of commercial software. You will learn the correct procedures for displaying and presenting information (desktop publishing); database skills; using advanced features of word processing, designing web pages and multi-media, project basic programming, games’ applications and media production, social and ethical issues relating to digital communication and publishing.  You will be able to create a digital portfolio.
 
Assessment: You will be required to complete two to three assessment pieces per semester. Your assessment will be in the form of tests and class production work.
 
Costs: Covered by Resource Hire Scheme.
