Music

 

Content: Areas of study are chosen from Film Music, Jazz, Popular Song, Reggae, and Rock Music.

 

Assessment: Students will be assessed under 3 criteria:

·        Listening and identifying music played to them during the term.

·        Performing as a class and within small groups.

·        Composing/Arranging short musical works.

 

Career Pathways: Future career options include being a musician, a teacher or working in the music industry.  For many students however,  music is a recreational pursuit which remains with them for the rest of their lives.  Music can be fun.  Why not enrol and find out?
