Bicycles, skateboards, and scooters must be secured before school in the bike cage under V Block before 8.40am. Information regarding the bike, skateboard and scooter cage and application for swip card can be found here. Students must not carry these items with them whilst at school. If riding a bicycle, skateboard or scooter to school, safety and traffic regulations must be obeyed.
Our school’s reputation depends upon students’ behaviour in public. Exemplary behaviour is expected whilst travelling to and from school. The school is authorised to take disciplinary action against any student on their way to and from school should their misbehaviour warrant it. Complaints against students will be investigated and action against offenders may also lead to cancellation of bus or train tickets by the transport companies.
Public transport options: Indooroopilly train station is a short walk to the school along Lambert Road. For bus connections, Translink operates student-only bus services from Carnarvon Street. For more information please contact Translink on 13 12 30. Students who catch these buses are to wait in an orderly manner on the footpath. Students are not to loiter on Taringa Rovers Soccer Grounds at any time. Indooroopilly Shopping Centre is the major bus hub and is a 15-minute walk from school.
If students drive to school they must first seek approval from the Principal using the Notification of Intention to drive to school (PDF, 133KB). Please use the form function to submit or return directly to Student Services.
At no time are students to drive vehicles into the school grounds. Student vehicles are to be parked in the street. No students, other than brothers and sisters, are to travel to and from school with a student driver without written permission of the parents/legal guardians of both students being lodged with the Principal.
