Elevate your game to the next level with Indro Aspire Basketball; an exciting program designed to enhance our student Basketball athletes through advanced fundamental skill work and conceptual team foundation.
Selected students who are highly motivated and exemplify dedication to the program will represent Indooroopilly across three age groups: Sophomores (Years 7-8), Junior Secondary (Years 9-10) and Opens (Years 11-12) in both Boys and Girls.
Students will represent the school through the Championship Basketball Schools Queensland (CBSQ) tournament, where students will showcase their skills against competitors from 150+ schools across Queensland. In preparation for these tournaments, friendly matches against local schools will be scheduled for additional exposure and to create an authentic match environment.

Partnership: Indro is continuing our partnership with Brisbane Bullets to contribute to the growth and development of Basketball within our school community. Their team of coaches, players and service providers will be collaborating with the teams to provide valuable development opportunities for students and coaches. This includes:
- Exceptional coaching from Brisbane Bullets Coaching Staff
- Attendance at Bullets High Performance Centre
- Attendance and half-time game opportunities at Brisbane Bullets home games
Students interested in further developing their Basketball skills have the opportunity to participate in a supportive pathway known as 'Basketball Club'. This fosters a non-competitive environment that caters to all skill levels and allows continuous development of skills and capabilities that transition into Indro Aspire Basketball.
Trials for 2027: Our 2026 teams are currently at capacity, students wanting to join Aspire Basketball will need to trial later in the year for 2027. Trials will take place at the end of Term 3 & start of Term 4 depending on the age group. Please note, only students enrolled in Indooroopilly SHS for 2027 are eligible to trial.
