A competitive Volleyball program for experienced and skilled Volleyballers to represent Indooroopilly SHS across three age groups: Junior (Years 7-8), Intermediate (Years 9-10), and Senior (Years 10-12), for both boys and girls. With squads formed through age group trials, the program will focus on refining Volleyball skills, specialising in positions, player rotations fostering teamwork and ensuring performance improvement and a rewarding experience both on and off the court.
Students selected will represent the school in their respective age group annual Queensland School Volleyball Cup competition, competing in the 3-day tournament with up to 2000 competitors from different Queensland schools. In preparation for these tournaments, friendly matches against local schools will be scheduled for additional exposure and to create authentic match environments.
Students interested in further developing their Volleyball skills have the opportunity to participate in 'Volleyball Club' that caters to all skill levels and allows continuous skill and capability development.
Fee: $550.00 including kit to keep. Program is supported by paid external coaches.
