Organising Work Experience
Students are responsible for securing their own work experience placement and should check their assessment calendar to ensure it fits with their academic commitments. When conducting your work placement you represent Indooroopilly SHS, and the Principal reserves the right to decline a placement if a student's participation does not reflect the school's expectations in the community.
Key Details
- Students can complete up to 30 days of Work Experience each calendar year.
- All Work Experience is unpaid and covered by the Department of Education's insurance.
- Placements are available during school terms only—not on weekends or during holidays.
