Hard drive sizes

Most new laptop computers come with “SSD” hard drives which are smaller in capacity but faster than the traditional magnetic hard drives. The size of the hard drive determines how much software and data can be stored. A minimum of 256 GB is desirable. Devices may be advertised with a "HDD" or "SSD" storage size. These terms are interchangeable, so both appear in the specifications below.

Data Storage of School Work

It is important that all student school work be stored in the School OneDrive Cloud storage supplied free with the Microsoft Office 365 suite, and not on a personal Microsoft OneDrive. This ensures data is available at home and at school and would be preserved in case of any damage/loss of laptop.
