Do you allow iPads?

IPads can be connected to the BYOx network but these devices will not be able to support effective learning when:

  • Access to network file shares and printing is required because iPads cannot connect to these services;
  • Significant text entry is required because the screen keyboards on these devices are not suitable for ergonomic large text input (a Bluetooth keyboard would be needed);
  • Use of school software licensed for BYOx devices is required because the software runs only on Windows or Mac devices.
Students are expected to have a laptop computer sufficient for their curriculum needs as defined in the specifications on this page.
