My name is Marty Begbie and I am the Head of Year 12. I've been in education for 13 years at a variety of schools across Brisbane, Ipswich and Logan.
I am passionate about the value of education and believe it should always be wholistic, with wellbeing at the core. I am a big believer in the importance of having a growth mindset- whether that applies to me, our students or our staff. This looks like being open minded, willing to personally reflect on yourself honestly, able to take on constructive criticism, ready to acknowledge when you are wrong and willing to change.
On a more personal note, some of the things I love in life are sport, board games, music, deep conversations about life's greatest mysteries and large doses of chocolate after my two young children are asleep.
I look forward to continuing to be a part of this fantastic school community and working with our Year 12s in their final year of schooling.
