Academy Award Nominated Director and Brisbane-based animator, Lachlan Pendragon, has visited V3TV students to share his career journey and advice on the global film industry.

Lachlan was nominated for Best Short Film Animation in the 2023 Academy Awards for his film, 'An Ostrich Told Me the World Is Fake and I Think I Believe It'.
It took Lachlan ten months to develop the film, which he did as a research project for his doctorate program at Griffith University Film School. Lachlan’s earlier works showcase his connection with Brisbane and Griffith, including 'Bush Turkeys of QCAD' (2015), 'Elevator Madness' (2015), 'The Toll' (2017), and 'Beethoven: Live at Roma Street Parkland' (2019).

We thank Lachlan for sharing his insight with our keen Indro students.
