Transforming the Classroom - Meeting the Education Boom Event

Thursday 5 October, at Indooroopilly State High School

A panel of leading Australian commentators will discuss the pressing need for schools to innovate to ensure they meet the needs of students now and into the future. They will provide their expert commentary on the current national conversation on the future of the Australian Education System.

Indro parents and the Brisbane community are invited to watch futurist, Bernard Salt AM, deliver a compelling presentation on transforming the classroom to meet the population boom. Following will be a Q&A panel with award-winning journalist, Madonna King, education advocate, Dr Stephen Brown, and Indro P&C President, Nigel Pearn.

Experts predict current students, Generation Alpha will have 20 jobs in 15 different organisations over a 45-year career, meaning continuous learning will become vital as people change careers more often over a longer working lifespan.

Exploding suburban populations, like Indooroopilly, are driving policy leaders to reconsider traditional teaching models to address capacity concerns. Hear about the innovative lesson delivery methods educational leaders recommend to modernise classrooms.

This is a complimentary event, but registration is essential for catering purposes. Please book by October 3 using the QR Code or the following link: https://www.trybooking.com/CLNER
